These Terms of Service govern the booking of private tours and excursions with Morocco Tours Agency. They outline our policies on deposits, final payments, cancellations, and traveler responsibilities. As a licensed national operator, we are committed to providing transparent and fair conditions for all our guests to ensure a secure and professional travel experience.
1. Booking and Deposit Policy
To secure your private tour with Morocco Tours Agency, a formal booking must be made.
- Deposit Requirement: A deposit (typically 20-30% of the total tour price) is required to confirm your reservation. This allows us to secure your private vehicle, driver, and preferred Riad accommodations.
- Confirmation: Upon receipt of the deposit, we will issue a formal booking confirmation and a detailed itinerary.
- Payment Methods: Deposits can be made via secure online payment links, PayPal, or bank transfer.
2. Final Payment
The remaining balance of your tour price is generally due upon arrival in Morocco.
- Payment in Morocco: Most guests choose to pay the balance in cash (Euros, US Dollars, or Moroccan Dirhams) at the start of the tour.
- Credit Cards: If you prefer to pay the balance via credit card, please notify our Fes headquarters in advance, as local processing fees may apply.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be as fair as possible while covering the non-refundable commitments we make to our local partners.
- Cancellations 30+ Days Before Arrival: Your deposit is fully refundable, minus any non-refundable fees charged by Riads or administrative bank processing fees.
- Cancellations 15–30 Days Before Arrival: We offer a 50% refund of the deposit or a full credit to be used for a future tour within 24 months.
- Cancellations Less Than 14 Days Before Arrival: Deposits are generally non-refundable, as accommodations and logistics have been fully finalized and paid by our agency.
4. Itinerary Changes and Flexibility
As a private tour operator, we offer high flexibility.
- Changes by the Traveler: We will do our best to accommodate last-minute changes to your route. Please note that significant changes may incur additional costs based on mileage or accommodation availability.
- Changes by the Agency: In rare cases (e.g., extreme weather, road closures in the Atlas Mountains), we reserve the right to modify the itinerary to ensure your safety. We will always provide an equivalent or upgraded alternative.
5. Travel Insurance (Recommended)
Morocco Tours Agency strongly recommends that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance. Your insurance should cover:
- Trip cancellation and interruption.
- Medical expenses and emergency evacuation.
- Loss or damage of personal luggage.
- Note: Morocco Tours Agency is not liable for any personal injury, illness, or property damage during the tour.
6. Responsibility and Liability
Morocco Tours Agency acts as a licensed coordinator for transport, accommodation, and guiding.
- Safety: We maintain our own fleet and employ 120 professional staff to ensure the highest safety standards.
- Third Parties: While we only partner with vetted Riads and restaurants, the agency is not responsible for the independent acts or omissions of these third-party providers.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
We value your privacy. Any personal information collected during the booking process (passport details, dietary needs, contact info) is used strictly for the logistical arrangement of your tour and is never shared with outside marketing parties.
Frequently Asked Questions (Legal & Logistics)
Q: Are there hidden fees in the tour price?
A: No. Our quotes clearly state what is included (transport, fuel, accommodation, breakfast) and what is not (lunches, monument entrance fees, tips).
Q: What happens if my flight to Morocco is delayed?
A: Our drivers monitor all flight arrivals at Casablanca (CMN), Marrakech (RAK), and Fes (FEZ). If your flight is delayed, we will adjust your pickup time at no extra charge.
