Upon your arrival at IBN BATOUTA International Airport in Tangier, you will be warmly welcomed by a member of our team. Following this, you will be driven to your accommodation. During the drive, the driver will provide a brief overview of your exciting tour ahead. After settling in, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
After enjoying breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel to discover the beauty of the North Bride, as Moroccan people affectionately call it. Tangier, founded in the 4th century BC, boasts a rich history shaped by various civilizations. Notably, it was established by the Carthaginians and later became a strategic post for the Arabs. After a day of exploration, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
The following day, after breakfast, embark on a journey to the picturesque town of Chefchaouen, passing through the Amazigh city of Tetouan, known for its stunning Moorish architecture. Chefchaouen, named after the two mountains surrounding it, served as a base for Berber tribes during Spanish colonization. Enjoy an overnight stay with breakfast in Chefchaouen.
On Day 4, you will begin with breakfast and then drive toward the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. Along the way, you will visit Ifran’s Lion and the Atlas apes. Upon arrival in Merzouga, you will embark on a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Spend an unforgettable night under the stars in a desert camp.
Wake up early to witness one of the world’s most beautiful sunrises over the sand dunes. Afterward, enjoy breakfast before returning to the hotel for a refreshing shower. Then, depart for Dades Gorges, stopping at Rissani’s famous souk, where the Alaouist dynasty began ruling Morocco over 350 years ago. Next, you will see the Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs, where about sixty members of the Saadian Dynasty are interred. After a lunch break, continue to the vibrant Jemaa el Fna Square, where food stalls, snake charmers, and musicians abound. End your day walking through the bustling souks, before returning to your Riad/Hotel for the night.
Begin your journey from Marrakech to Essaouira. As you travel, admire the many Argan trees, which are important both economically and ecologically. You might even spot local goats perched in the trees! At the women’s cooperative of Argan oil, you will learn about the various uses of the oil. After several stops for photographs, continue your journey to Essaouira, where you will explore the Skala Fortress, the port, and the souks, before enjoying a lunch of freshly cooked fish. After breakfast, start your day with a local guide exploring the medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover the Mellah, the former Jewish quarter, and enjoy local arts and crafts, including beautifully carved Thuya wood items. On the thirteenth day, depart for Rabat via the picturesque coastal road. Stop in Oualidia for a delicious fish lunch at a local restaurant with stunning sea views. Continue to El Jadida, where you will explore the famous citadel built under Portuguese rule in the 16th century. Arrive in Rabat late afternoon for an overnight stay with breakfast.
After breakfast, before heading to Tangier, start your journey with a visit to Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca. Then, travel to Rabat to see Hassan Tower and the Kings’ tombs. Afterward, visit the famous Kasbah Oudaya. Finally, continue your journey to Assilah for an overnight stay with breakfast.
