At 8:00 am, we will meet you at your accommodation’s reception to start your 3 Days Marrakech to Fes Desert Tours. We depart to Dades via the High Atlas Mountains, crossing Tichka Pass, which stands 2260m above sea level. We will stop to visit an argan oil women’s cooperative to see how Argan oil is made, and enjoy a cup of coffee. Then, we continue to Kasbah Telouat, the former home of the famous warlord El Pasha Lglaoui. Afterward, we travel along the salt road to reach the UNESCO World Heritage site, Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, for a visit and lunch at a local restaurant.
We then continue toward Dades, passing through Ouarzazate, also known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” where famous films like Gladiator and The Mummy were shot. On the way, we pass through Skoura Palm Grove and Rose Valley, stopping at a women’s cooperative for rose distillation. Our day ends in Dades, where we will stay overnight.
After breakfast, we leave Dades and head toward Merzouga, stopping at Todra Gorge to admire its towering 300m-high rocks.
